The drive for getting the North Carolina DMV to offer a WVU logo license plate was started by the Charlotte Alumni Chapter.  Below is an email message from the Charlotte Chapter providing information about this initiative.    To the left is the application form mentioned in the email message.

Fellow Mountaineers,

Thank you for your interest in obtaining a new license plate with the WVU logo. We need 300 license applications and checks before the plate can be created. Based on the response we've had in just the last week, combined with the interest expressed in the past, I'm confident we can get this done.

The application for the collegiate logo plate is attached to this email. Please print it, fill it out, and mail it, along with your check, to the address listed below (which also appears at the top of the application). Mike Petruski, the President of the Charlotte Alumni Chapter, will be collecting the applications. Regular logo plates are $25 each. The checks should be made out to the WVU Alumni Association.
